Earlier this year, the SM Flow Company team had the opportunity to attend VIV Asia 2025 in Bangkok, one of the most prominent exhibitions for animal protein production and processing. During the event, our team visited Marel at booth #1350 in Hall 1 to explore the latest in intelligent automation and high-performance processing technologies.

Marel’s experts in poultry, meat processing, and water treatment presented a comprehensive look into the future of food production. From AI-driven pre-evisceration breakthroughs and high-yield cut-up solutions to fully automatic breast deboning, Marel’s showcase highlighted impressive strides in efficiency and labor reduction.

Two immersive 3D rooms allowed our team to experience these innovations up close—no glasses needed—guided by specialists Astrid Verhoijsen and Lindsay Fokkens. We also observed live demonstrations of the I-Cut 122 Trimsort in action, with precise portioning for QSR applications, presented by Morten Dalqvist.

Additionally, we engaged with Marel’s experts in duck and red meat processing, as well as water treatment solutions tailored to industry-specific needs.

The experience reinforced Marel’s commitment to pushing processing boundaries. We’re excited to explore how these advancements can support SM Flow Company’s continued growth in the industry.
